Flow cytometry is the tool as a gold standard technique; for the rapid detection and numerous microscale cellular population, with a wide range of application in clinical immunological studies, diagnostic assays, and basic research.

At our Research Infrastructures Facilities (Tzabam), at the Alexander Silberman Institute of Life Sciences of The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, we currently operate four machines of Flow cytometry

1. Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS):

Two FACSs are (BD, FACS Aria iii) which are sophisticated instruments for analyzing different cellular properties and have the ability to do sorting

2. Analyzer of (Merk, CellStrem):

instrument for cells analysis and differentiation of cells and populations through defining special markers of cells using fluorescent probes

3. The sophisticated imaging system (Amnis® ImageStream®X Mk II):

that is a combination of a cell flowcytometry analyzer and a fluorescence microscope, which ensure eliminating bias and calculating features that can be identified through the localization of the fluorophore which the cells are subjected to.

Having proper personal handling the unit may give high performance that may get the users to be confident about their work quality, as well as providing good reference for others to be part of our customers. In case of any question our staff is available for help and support. Our service is covering the needs for the Hebrew University the Life Science Institute as well as any other people from any part of the University that may need this technology. As well our service is available for biotechnological companies and startups which may need this technology in their work.
